Data Operations Director, Data Marketplace
The Fyllo Compliance Cloud is a suite of software and services built to overcome the complexities of highly regulated industries. We deliver data, media, retail and regulatory solutions that enable organizations to streamline compliance, increase efficiencies, and scale with speed. The Fyllo Data Marketplace is a first of its kind access point for brands and agencies to reach one of the fastest growing new audiences, the cannabis and CBD consumer. As cannabis and CBD have gone mainstream, traditional brands and agencies have recognized the value to be gained in reaching this enormous, and still growing new vertical.
Data Operations is responsible for creating and curating the Fyllo data ecosystem to provide Fyllo customers and mainstream clients with access to leading cannabis- and CBD-endemic audience data. Fyllo is building for cannabis what IRI has done for CPG and what Polk has done for Auto. This is truly a game-changing role in building first-to-market data products that have been previously inaccessible to mainstream clients across key verticals like QSR, Retail, and CPG. The Data Operations Director will own integration efforts with demand side platforms, data management platforms, exchanges, and social platforms, and will lead expansion efforts to further scale and grow Fyllo’s ecosystem of audience data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead integration efforts with 3rd party data marketplaces, DSPs, DMPs, and social platforms
- Manage, develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize Fyllo’s data solutions and taxonomy
- Own all-things DMP in service of integrations, audience development, and data enrichment
- Evaluate performance in connection with audiences and optimize taxonomy accordingly
- Partner with Product, BD, and ENG on the development and buildout of incremental Fyllo-proprietary data sets and measurement solutions; support development of data-related offerings
- Own all-things data distribution, QA, taxonomy updates, custom audience creation, taxonomy mappings, and/or support for technical one-off data operations needs (ie, file uploads, overlap analyses, taxonomy refreshes, etc)
- Track and prepare data taxonomy updates across Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Data Management Platforms (DMPs)
- Uncover new audience solutions that can lead to strategic upsell opportunities and data investment
- Work with Sales and BD to identify ways to scale data investment
- Take up ad-hoc projects to facilitate and improve operational workflows
- Support sales organization with Fyllo’s ecosystem of data-related offerings
- Work with BD, Product, and Sales to identify ways to scale/build existing and new channels of data partner revenue.
- Drive process and packaging initiatives that improve operational efficiency and allow partner programs to scale.
Who You Are
- 6+ years of online advertising technology experience, preferably in a DSP/DMP data operational or technical function
- Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, as well as an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the evolving audience data landscape
- Ability to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes, and comfort with complex concepts
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, simultaneously, in an extremely fast paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated to learn about products, technology, customers, and competitors
- Crisp and effective communicator; consistent attention to detail
- Desire to work closely with sales and customer-facing teams to drive initiatives
- Understanding of audience data, digital media, programmatic buying and selling, and analytics
- Possess genuine interest in Fyllo’s mission to help the world realize the full potential of cannabis
- Bachelor’s degree required
