We are looking for an experienced and talented Art Director to join the PreSonus team, supporting the creative design strategy, concept development, and execution for Product Launches, Social Media Channels, Digital Channels, and PreSonus Marketing campaigns/initiatives. The Art Director will be responsible for defining the creative and design strategy in tandem with the PreSonus Creative Director, leading hands-on execution, development, oversight of all campaign assets across channels, and working with an external roster of agencies and freelancers as needed.The role combines strategic thinking with polished execution, creating engaging customer-facing experiences that shape the overall identity of the PreSonus brand. It requires knowledge of visual design trends, digital marketing design best practices, engineering, and development processes.
The ideal candidate is located in the greater Baton Rouge, LA area.
About the job:
- Lead the development of creative and design strategy in collaboration with Integrated Marketing, Social Media, Artist Marketing, and Digital Marketing functions.
- Identify, on board, and manage the day-to-day creative operations of external partners (when necessary) including agencies, design studios, production companies, photographers, vendors, and freelancers.
- Make creative decisions that reinforce and elevate the PreSonus brand.
- Concept, design and execute culturally relevant campaigns across multiple disciplines from digital to social to video, with an emphasis on digitally native content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Execute quick turn photo and video productions in the PreSonus studio and on location.
- Contribute to the global expansion and authenticity of the PreSonus brand.
What you need:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a digital designer or Art Director, including a strong social / digital competency
- An eye for photo and video Art Direction and experience working on set and in studio
- A proven ability to ideate and pitch strong campaign concepts
- A proven ability executing creative concepts across diverse audiences, media & culturally important consumer segments
- A team player who is just as at home ideating on a white board as getting in the trenches to do the production work necessary to bring a product to market
- Must be open to and eager to execute on cross-functional feedback in the interest of delivering comprehensive solutions
- Expertise and fundamental understanding of the intricacies and opportunities of designing for different digital platforms
- Broad, hybrid skill set as a designer, ideator, photographer, graphics artist, etc.
- Success designing, delivering and collaborating in a high growth, fast paced environment
- Conversant in current technologies and an active appetite to learn about new things
- Mastery of tools of the trade (Sketch, Adobe CS, etc.)
- Strong written, oral and visual communication skills
- Comfortable managing a roster of external partners
