*Remote* Senior Backend Engineer Node.JS (m/f/x) - PropTech startup

Our team is growing and searching for the most talented software engineers out there. As one of the early members of our engineering team you will have the opportunity to join a team of highly skilled engineers and you will be using the latest technology standards. You will design and develop well-tested software and have the opportunity to grow a team as we scale and work very closely with the founders.YOU WILL:

• Be part of our engineering team working on the development and improvement of the different backend parts
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, analysts, stakeholders) and moreover with the founders and senior management helping to ignite further growth of the company
• Build and test features/products using modern tools: Express.JS, Nest.JS, Sequelize, AWS stack, API gateway, ECS, Gitlab-CI pipelines
• Manage database schemas and continuesly improve our database models and microservices
• Ship products via a CI/CD pipeline based on Git Pull Requests, Gitlab-ci
• Proactively take responsibility for the long-term code quality and architecture
• Share your knowledge about tools and technology that remove manual processes, reduce tedious tasks and increase efficiency and reliability

We love those who bring experience from established Start-Ups and constantly think about better ways of doing things. Your passion is to produce maintainable, testable, and robust code.

• You have the start-up bug in your blood, you love working in a fast-paced environment
• 6+ years in software engineering, mainly JavaScript technologies + proficient Typescript skills
• TDD and BDD mindset is a must - maintainable code is our first priority
• Solid grasp of ES7, React.js+redux, NodeJS + Express and Typescript
• Experience with DDD concepts, event driven backend system, CQRS and backend architecture
• Experience with AWS Stack. Devops knowledge and Kubernetes is a plus
• You are a team player, curious and proactive in proposing new technical solutions
• You are fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
