We specialize in a web-based solution for thousands of schools and districts nationwide. Our content management system is packed with features designed specifically for teachers and school administrators and is a perfect fit for educational organizations of any size, from small charter schools to districts with dozens of campuses.
We are looking for a passionate and talented copywriter and storyteller to join our marketing team. To build the Edlio brand, we will be producing high-quality content that provides value to school leaders across the country. This role will be responsible for print and digital content that showcases Edlio’s products and services, through client testimonials, thought leadership and research. This role will also work closely with the Content Marketing Specialist and full marketing team.
Responsibilities
Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print.
Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.
Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with Edlio’s mission to inspire ideas and content.
Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating closely with Content Marketing Specialist and clients, to write according to Edlio’s editorial style and ensure timely delivery of materials
Ensures brand, tone and marketing consistency and execution across all tactics
Provides a high level of industry and solution knowledge to create marketing and thought leadership content and refine key messaging, including case studies, white papers, infographics, e-books, decks, speaker notes, and more
Works independently and manages multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensures the successful completion of each under tight deadlines
Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a professional environment, preferably on a creative or marketing team, focusing on content creation or editorial.
Self-starter who takes initiative and brings fresh, new ideas to the table
Flourishes in a fast-paced environment and can act quickly on their feet
Accurate, meticulous, with high attention to detail
Excellent work ethic and time management skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills
Experience with B2B audiences, SaaS or technical products, and audience segmentation
Preference will be given to candidates who have education or experience researching education-related topics
Ability to think outside the box and present information in engaging unique ways
