We are looking for a highly motivated and solution-oriented Data Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in SQL, data modeling, and query optimizations. As our first Data Engineer, you will work in close collaboration with product managers, engineers & others throughout the organization to understand the features being developed and provide insights for internal visibility and improving our products. You will build dashboards that allow us to visualize feature usage and measure the value they bring to our customers. You will also analyze our huge datasets to classify data and build ETL pipelines for integrations with other systems.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Engineering and various stakeholders to develop metrics and insights on product usage and our users’ behavior within our products.
Demonstrate how these insights about product usage and user behavior should drive decisions such as prioritization of product roadmaps or increases in customer outreach.
Developing data pipelines to various downstream connections to allow for enriched analysis of our datasets.
KPI reporting and monitoring; this includes anomaly detection tools and advanced measurement approaches.
Prioritize between multiple planned analytics projects and ad-hoc data requests for our internal stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications - The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Analyst role should have the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or similar technical field.
2+ years experience as a DBA, software engineer, or other related role.
Strong database modeling skills and experience in data classification.
Experience in data warehouses and building ETLs.
Healthcare benefits knowledge is a plus
Must have proof of legal authority to work in the U.S.
