Marketing and Product Localization Project Manager

As part of the localization team, you will work across multiple teams remotely in a fun, fast-moving, and friendly environment. You’ll be involved in coordinating audiovisual projects, improving processes, helping our audiovisual translators improve their work, working with internal and external resources, and making sure that communication with all stakeholders is clear and smooth to make Domestika a commonplace for creatives across different markets and languages. You should be adaptable, experienced, and passionate about audiovisual content!

Functions:

• Coordinating with and reporting to the lead Marketing and Product localization PM to ensure the success of multiple localization processes from start to finish.
• Communicating regularly with external vendors to assign and receive tasks and feedback.
• Identifying risks and issues in projects and solving them through prioritization, communication, and scaling up of the issue when necessary.
• Improving processes and creating plans to avoid future and existing issues.
• Coordinating and creating documentation, collecting data, and creating reports.
• Supporting other project managers as needed, working closely to provide excellent localization output.

Requirements:

• Advanced level of English and Spanish.
• 1 or more years of experience in a Localization Project Management position with specific marketing and/or Web/App tasks.
• Previous experience as a Marketing and Product translator.
• Exquisite organization and writing skills. Grammar nerds are welcome!
• High sensitivity to the subtleties of different languages and approaches.
• Professional use of CAT tools and management of glossaries, TMs, and style guides.
• Close attention to detail and very organized.
• Adaptable and capable of working independently. The unforeseen doesn’t scare you.

Would be a plus:

• Experience in audiovisual translation and/or QA tasks.
• Advanced level of one of the following languages: Portuguese (BR), French, German, Italian, Polish, or Dutch.
