Vacancy for the post of accountant
Position: accountant
Contract term: 3 years
Compensation: usd 1,200 to usd 1500 depending upon experience and negotiations
.
Working hours: 60 hours per weekFlexibility may be required based on business needs.
Benefits: overtime-pay (require pre-approval from the management), annual christmas incentives, 5 (five) days sick leave (annual pro-rated), employee discounts.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Advanced certifications (e.g., cpa, cma, acca) preferred or required.
Experience
Proven experience in accounting roles, such as public accounting, corporate accounting, or auditing.
Minimum of 5 years in relevant roles.
Technical skills
Accounting software proficiency
Expertise in software like quickbooks, xero, sap, oracle, or other industry-standard platforms.
Advanced skills in microsoft excel
Data analysis
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting tools.
Taxation
In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in preparing and filing tax returns.

High level of accuracy in handling financial data.

Experience presenting reports to management
Problem-solving
Analytical mindset for identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.

Proven ability to meet deadlines, particularly during busy periods like tax season.

Responsibilities
General ledger management
Overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Financial reporting
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensuring reports comply with statutory regulations.
Auditing
Conducting or assisting with internal and external audits.
Ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations.
Advisory
Providing strategic advice on financial planning, cost reduction, and profitability.
Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Willingness to travel
