About the role
The srSoftware developer will use their knowledge of programming languages to design software programs for the us army’s corp of engineers and their project management tool suite, referred to as project management information management system (promis)Their duties include meeting with clients to determine software needs, coding and testing software to ensure functionality and updating software programs to refine components like cybersecurity measures and data storage capacitiesAdditional responsibilities include:
Collaborating with program management, scrum masters, product owners, and analysts to identify end-user requirements and specifications
Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
Testing and deploying programs and applications
Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance
Observing user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products
Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
Developing a deep technical understanding of the solution architecture and guiding the team on integration of the oracle paas enclave, cloud based applications, cloud/on-premise database applications, and data reporting tools.
About you
Basic qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related fieldAdditional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
10+ years of experience in coding in one or more of the following languages: .net, c++, vb, java or other languages to create middleware and frameworks or systems such as angularjs and git
Oracle database experience
Experience with agile and scrum development methodologies
Experience working in and integrating across cloud environments
Deep technical understanding of oracle paas and how it interacts with multi/single tenant applications
Preferred qualifications
Expertise in oracle primavera apis and web services are highly desired
Oracle apex experience or other low code/no code environments
Oracle project integration framework experience or other integration engine
Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of object-relational mapping frameworks and etl processes
Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
Ability to learn new programming languages, collect feedback and improve existing software is a desirable quality in applicants
Experience with fedramp, stigs, fips 199, or nist 800-60 or experience with a 3pao
Data migration through integration experience
