Specialist – Corporate and Sustainability Communications
The Specialist is responsible for project management within Corporate and Sustainability Communications, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resources, setting timelines, and aligning objectives to ensure timely task completion. This role also involves developing and executing communications plans for sustainability initiatives, supporting media relations, and overseeing internal and external communications to strengthen the corporate image. Additionally, the Specialist will work closely with relevant stakeholders and the Digital Transformation Team to keep website content up to date, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.
The Job
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to update dialog.lk and manage timely uploading of approved press releases.
Oversee three PR funnels: brands, sustainability, and TFT.
Collaborate with the crisis team for effective incident management.
Work with the Sustainability team to translate strategies into actionable marketing communications plans.
Create high-quality marketing materials that align with overall brand strategy.
Assist in drafting press releases, interviews, advertorials, and byline articles based on provided briefs.
Research media coverage and industry trends.
Proofread communications materials and reports before release.
Assist in drafting clear and concise crisis communications.
Develop and sustain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
Manage external agencies and ensure adherence to marketing budgets.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to maintain operational activities.
