Senior Lead - Network Engineering

Job Purpose: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lead - Network Engineering to establish the strategy, architecture, implementation, operation, network security, and cost/procurement management for Dialog Axiata's various data networks and cloud connectivity architecture. This role is crucial in facilitating business-critical needs and identifying areas for improvement in our current network infrastructure, providing a clear roadmap and solutions to achieve a more efficient and robust network.  

The Job: 

• Develop and implement solutions for internal networking needs, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPN clusters, wireless networks, and more.  

• Manage and oversee the digital services network and network security architecture, including IPS, WAF, load balancers, and NAC systems.  

• Plan and optimize data centers and user networks to ensure cost-effective and efficient resource utilization.  

• Maintain robust network security policies and practices, ensuring compliance with Axiata Minimum Baseline Security Standards (MBSS) and NIST Security Standards.  

• Lead strategic data center and network planning initiatives to align with business goals and technological advancements.  

• Identify and automate network functions to enhance efficiency and expedite project timelines.  

• Conduct root cause analysis for outages and implement corrective actions to ensure operational success.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digitization and convergence projects, ensuring seamless integration of cloud services.  

• Continuously assess and develop team skills to align with company strategies and emerging technologies.
