Senior DevOps Engineer – Ideamart

Job Purpose:  

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in evolving the Platform Services to meet market needs by aligning with industry best practices. This position is responsible for supporting the API and Platform Service offerings of the Ideamart Business, ensuring platform stability and delivering best-in-class quality of service and support to all developers and enterprises utilizing these offerings from Ideamart and Dialog Axiata.  

The Job  

• Develop automation scripts and configurations for all platform operations to ensure 24x7x365 availability.  

• Install and configure hardware, peripherals, services, and storage in accordance with standards and operational requirements.  

• Maintain Datacentre Services infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, and networking. - Simplify infrastructure through industry best practices.  

• Manage Jenkins jobs for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for IdeaBiz Services.  

• Oversee AWS infrastructure management, including EC2, Route 53, S3, and more. 

• Design reusable components and operational strategies in the cloud for scalability and performance.  

• Document installation, provisioning, and security procedures for business continuity.  

• Optimize AWS resource usage for cost efficiency and profitability.  

• Feasibility checks to enhance Ideamart and IdeaBiz offerings.  

• Conduct feasibility checks for new operator onboarding.  

• Identify limitations and communicate them to senior management.  

• Provide solutions for onboarding challenges.  

• Analyze application, system, and network issues, providing timely solutions. 

• Build and maintain tools for developers to self-serve operational tasks.  

• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot production issues.  

• Monitor KPIs to ensure compliance with SLAs.  

• Manage project priorities related to infrastructure and deliverables.  

• Work with external vendors and internal teams to implement changes and new features. 

• Design and maintain data pipelines for real-time decision-making and reporting.  

• Manipulate Big Data using Hadoop tools for insights.  

• Architect and manage data models for analytics.  

• Provide guidance on application creation and configurations.  

• Assist stakeholders in initiating Ideamart accounts to expand the service provider pool.  

• Advise service providers on app performance and security.  

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analyses as needed.  

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide feedback on technical documentation.
