Job Purpose
The role supports the VP of National Sales by managing distribution operations through analytics, identifying gaps, and implementing strategies. It includes overseeing strategic business programs, ensuring timely updates, and monitoring risks. The candidate will also manage sales performance dashboards and advise on anomalies. Additionally, the position involves overseeing the business development of 5-star outlets, ensuring profitability within 6-8 months post-restructuring. Responsibilities include assessing performance, implementing improvements, analyzing data, and making decisions on underperforming outlets, while establishing KPIs and leading monthly performance reviews.
The Job
1. Program Management: Oversee end-to-end Strategic Business program plans for National Sales, ensuring timely completion and stakeholder support.
2. Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with regional sales management, Planning Team, and other stakeholders for effective program delivery.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination: Manage inter-dependencies related to cross-functional program milestones.
4. Risk Management: Identify key issues and risks in Strategic Business programs, escalating to senior management as needed to minimize business impact.
5. Automation and Insights: Drive automation in distribution channels and provide insights for user-friendly systems for regional sales teams.
6. Data Monitoring: Collaborate with regional Business Analysts to ensure necessary information is available for timely actions.
7. Single Point of Contact: Act as the SPOC for National Sales operations, aligning regional teams with business unit objectives.
8. Performance Review: Regularly review dashboards on key initiatives like Re-Distribution and Digitization programs.
9. Strategic KPI Management: Drive high-level strategic KPIs to enhance business profitability and revenue.
10. Business Planning: Participate in annual business planning to identify strategies for distribution channel development and product advancements.
11. Outlet Assessment: Conduct assessments of outlets to ensure optimal locations and address underperformance issues.
12. Training and Incentives: Implement training programs and performance-based incentives to motivate staff and enhance operational efficiency.
