Design, develop, execute and manage hybrid TV services combining Direct to Home (DTH) satellite and Over The Top (OTT) services.
Research the new products related to DTV-CPE and asses the compliance with company quality, cost ,product and security requirements in order to introduce superior products to strengthen and enhance CPE quality and service in a continuous manner
Implement the testing and development process of the identified new CPE products through coordinating with vendor to verify the products before purchase decision is made
Perform technical evaluations for tender requirements for new DTV-CPE products to check the technical aspects are according to the specification to maintain the expected quality in delivering.
Coordinate with vendor to develop debugging solutions for the bugs in CPEs that occur in the field, to reduce frequent customer complaints which are addressed.
Upload and maintain the necessary software for STBs in the Over The Air (OTA) server in order to ensure the latest software is available for the STBs.
Carry out QC (Quality Control) tests for new shipments to ensure each shipment is fault free and also ready to be released to the field.
Implement Television Receive, OTT, CDN related projects to cater the new project expansions.
Execute technology roadmap for evolution of digital video broadcasting, satellite connectivity, IPTV, Content Delivery and OTT service platforms.
Execute the planned smooth evolution of digital video broadcasting, satellite connectivity, IPTV, Content Delivery and OTT service platforms ensuring the network is managed with up to date, modern and relevant technologies and is enabled with capabilities to meet current and future business demands.
Carry out technical research on new services and technologies in broadcasting domain and prepare plans for deployment of DTV operations.
Carry out projects to deploy such services and technologies in line with project plan and schedules.
Prepare and update training material in compliance with technical evolution in DTV technology relevant internal and external parties to maintain a proper training function within the group.
Provide technical training to internal and external parties (All customer support teams such as front line, TAC, MCR, GFSS etc and also TSC, internal trainees, legal and school teachers and principals who take part in the Nenasa program) on regular basis as well as on request.
