Data Analyst

Job purpose 

The Data Analyst for Group Internal Audit will play a crucial role in supporting internal auditors by leveraging data analytics to enhance auditing processes. This position involves creating insightful dashboards and developing various use cases that streamline audit tasks, improve efficiency, and add significant value to the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to informed decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the company. 

The Job 

• Assist in conducting data analytics to support audit activities. 

• Identify and develop use cases for continuous auditing through data analytics. 

• Present findings and actionable insights to management using data visualization tools.  

• Identify opportunities and develop use cases for incorporating AI, overseeing the implementation of these solutions. 

• Engage effectively with auditees to identify opportunities where analytics can be utilized to develop use cases for audits. 

• Identify opportunities for digitization and automation within processes and oversee the implementation of the identified automation solutions. 

• Extract, clean, and model data to facilitate predictive and unsupervised learning initiatives. 

• Update and maintain existing dashboards while also creating new dashboards to meet future requirements. 

• Train and certify in SQL, Python, Tableau and Power BI to become a subject matter expert. 

• Manage data quality and cleansing relevant to the division.
