What is Current Mobile?
Our mission is to enable budget-conscious consumers to earn additional income from their everyday habits. We accomplish this with an Android app and smartphone that pay users to listen to music, charge their phone, play games, complete surveys; and connect them with exclusive deals to save and earn even more.
Current Mobile is a fully remote US-based company that builds mobile technology products for budget-conscious consumers. Our products let people around the world earn passive income while using their mobile phones for daily habits like music, games, news, shopping, browsing, charging, and even unlocking their devices.
We continue to expand our product offering to more than 3 million monthly active users and pace towards revenue growth of more than 400% in 2021. Additionally, we expect to have paid out $6+ million to earners this year and look forward to strong continued growth ahead.
Our flagship products, Current Rewards, and Mode Smartphone are hugely popular with millions of users around the world. It is our goal to provide a free Mode phone to every income-conscious consumer on the planet, enabling them to earn up to $100 each month while passively using their device. In 2018, Current became the first company to raise over $36M through an SEC-registered security token offering, to implement our royalty-paying token $CRNC across company product lines.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member driving overall Market Place sales and technical strategy.
- Manage a targeted portfolio of product, developing and advancing relationships and growing multiple online platforms and partners.
- Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
- Set a strategic sales plan for your target markets and ensure it's in line with the company’s strategic direction.
- Understand the technical considerations and certifications specific to each market.
- Execute the strategic sales and business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales teams, service teams, legal, support, etc).
- Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case.
- Work closely with the Market Place sales teams to build relationships with partners in your territory and foster joint pursuits.
- Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers.
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and within the Mobile industry - Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- 5+ years of experience developing, enabling and launching product online with experience selling Mobile Phones.
- 5+ years of experience managing sales accounts and territories
- Self-starter and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to collaborate to solve complex business challenges.
- Understand the technical considerations and certifications specific to the product homologations in different markets.
- Excellent writing skills. The ability to author original text including detailed sales forecasts and strategy planning documents.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead executive level meetings understanding the audience and the ability to conduct sales activities.
- Experience developing an indirect sales channel, growing partner competencies, and delivering sell-through revenue.
- Ability to drive strategic technology discussions at multiple levels with partners and customers.
