About us
At Vicoland, we give the gig economy a new dimension: Virtual Companies, in short: “Vicos”. The Vicos allow freelancers to team up and act as if they were a real company, competing successfully for interesting, large projects. Our digital platform provides the legal, organizational and transactional tech which enables collaboration of Vicos and clients throughout projects. Vicoland has successfully started operations with Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller clients. Also we concluded strategic partnerships (e.g.: SAP) and caught quite some media attention (e.g.: Forbes).
In order to further develop our platform and accelerate growth we are looking for a full-stack developer. You can join remote or on premises in Seville (Spain). We are currently a team of 25+ people, located across Europe and the US.
Our tech stack
- PHP framework Symfony on backend
- Angular/Typescript on frontend
- Kubernetes cluster hosted in AWS runs our testing, staging and production environments
- Jenkins is powering our CI/CD pipeline
Your responsibilities
- Implementing frontend components and integrating with backend APIs
- Owning whole development pipeline from technical design and development to deployment and production monitoring
- Working with product managers and designers on definition of new features (we involve developers early in the product design process)
- Collaborating with other developers on architectural design, code reviews and retrospectives

- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS or LESS, and Bootstrap, Material/Materialize
- Excellent Javascript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6
- Solid understanding and development experience in Angular
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with tools like Webpack, Angular CLI
- Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
- Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools
