Full Stack Developer - Full Remote at Casavo

We are a proptech company born in Milan in 2017 with the mission to simplify the way people sell, buy and live houses by creating technological products that can handle and manage the complexity of real estate transactions. Our ambition is to expand our business across Europe and we recently established in Spain. Our clients are:

people who want to sell their houses quickly and avoid the pain of dealing with bureaucracy or organizing visits and inspections
people looking for beautiful and renovated houses
real estate brokers willing to offer their services in an innovative and easy way

We are currently scaling our business leveraging our technology and an international marketplace. Our investors are increasing, we are more than 200 people among Italy and Spain and we have recently raised a Series C funding of €200M, fueling our objectives. It is now time to grow even more and increase our talented tech team with engineers that want to contribute to the development of our products.

What will you do?

You will be part of a cross-functional agile team working in charge of the development of our Renovation Platform to scale refurbishment activities to the next level,. Together with the team you will design and implement the foundation of the Casavo technology platform. Our teams apply Clean Code and SOLID principles and work daily with quality in mind
Every team is responsible to schedule daily activities and is incentivised to self-organise to reach the business goals.
Every team and every team member are responsible for the internal and external quality of our products
Pair programming, Community of Practices and other “knowledge sharing” activities are highly encouraged and practiced by many of our developers (regardless of the role)
We value every voice in the company, so backlog refinements, planning and retrospectives are part of normal daily job of a developer
The renovation sector is one of the latest sectors to enter the digitization wave, we are working to build a best-in-class solution that can be the point of reference for millions of homeowners and of contractors in Europe.

What will we expect from you?

As Full Stack Developer you'll need to demonstrate:

Significant experience with one or more of the main backend programming languages.
Significant experience with frameworks React.js with Javascript and Typescript.
Experience with microservice architectures and distribuited architectures
Working knowledge of Test Driven Development and test automation
Knowledge of code quality, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles
Familiarity with CI/CD practices
Ability to document and troubleshoot activities

We'd excited if you have:

Multi paradigm (Functional and Object Oriented Programming) knowledge or exposure
You are familiar with Kotlin Elixir or Python, or willing to learn them
You are familiar with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
You are familiar with CQRS, ES, Event-driven architectures
You are familiar with Agility
You have already worked in a cross-functional team
You have knowledge of Domain Driven Design
You have worked in a product company and are interested in being part of the business product development
