CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and experienced VFX Artist to join our team. The candidate for this position needs to demonstrate deep understanding of the industry, have experience with real-time visual effects in AAA projects as well as show interest in emerging trends in this field. 
As a Senior VFX Artist you will be responsible for creating high-quality real-time visual FX for characters, environments and gameplay. You will work closely with other departments while creating and implementing VFX assets. You will also search for new solutions and enhancements, help refine the VFX pipeline, optimize visual effects for performance and maintain high-quality standards.

Daily Responsibilities 

• Creating high-quality real-time visual effects for characters, environments and gameplay.
• Working closely with art, design and tech departments while creating and implementing VFX assets.
• Searching for new solutions and enhancements.
• Helping refine the VFX Pipeline.
• Optimizing visual effects for performance.
• Maintaining high-quality standards.

• 5+ years of experience in the games industry with at least one full AAA project cycle as a VFX Artist.
• Experience with creating a wide variety of realistic game-ready visual effects.
• Outstanding creativity and artistic ability, attention to detail and a very strong commitment to a project.
• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine and experience in Niagara visual effects system.
• Good general knowledge of one of 3D packages (3ds Max/Maya/Blender/Houdini) and Photoshop.
• Some tech-art background would be a plus.
• Good attitude towards receiving feedback and exchanging knowledge.
• Ability to define and meet a schedule.    
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Working mode

For this role you can choose between a remote-first or office-first working mode.

• Office-First: working primarily from the Warsaw, Wroclaw, or Cracow studio for a minimum of 10 days per month.
• Remote-First: working from home, or from any location that is within 3 hours of the GMT+2 time zone.
