We are doing this by shifting business online and allowing event organizers to move large groups to their destinations with ease. In 6 years, we have run thousands of trips for hundreds of thousands of people, including professional sports teams, major tech companies, international music festivals, and everyone in between.
Your Role:
Bus.com is looking for the next generation of sales leaders to join our team as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)! Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales Operations, you will be responsible for supporting Bus.com’s sales org as a key member of the sales operations team. In this high-growth environment, we will be training and honing the skills you need to seek strategic business opportunities to continue our disruption of this industry.
To be successful in this role, you must be committed to boosting sales and contributing to our long-term business growth, with the ultimate objective of identifying and driving qualified sales opportunities. This role will not only be key in establishing the value of the SDR function within our organization, but it is also considered a training-ground for advancement in the company within the sales org, as well as our emerging career paths within other parts of the business. Your Responsibilities:
- Achieve/exceed monthly metrics (ex: lead conversion / opportunities won) by following the Bus.com' established pre-sales process in an effort to drive prospects through the sales cycle
- Qualify inbound prospect leads and grow these accounts (prospect, educate, qualify and develop)
- Evaluate leads to route prospects into correct sales pipeline
- Successfully manage and overcome customer objections
- Utilization of CRM and communication tools (Salesforce, Gmail, TalkDesk, Salesloft)
- Utilization of Internet research tools for prospecting (Google, LinkedIn)
Your Skills and Competencies:
- You must be bilingual and fluent in speaking English and French (Spanish is a plus).
- You are comfortable working with G-Suite products (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs).
- You display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You demonstrate active listening skills (you show an understanding of what has been said by being able to accurately reflect and respond to it).
- You have excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity, and time management.
- You can prioritize and organize tasks, with the capacity to multitask.
- You possess strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and resolve issues.
- You exhibit empathy and self-awareness (you can ‘read the room’).
Ideally You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or similar relevant experience
- 0-1+ years of sales experience in a high activity, inbound role as a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR) or equivalent role (creativity and mix of industries welcome!) is a plus
- Some experience with Salesforce (or comparable CRMs) is a plus
- Some experience with Sales Engagement tools is a plus
- Customer-focused approach to communications
