We’re disrupting a $17B private bus industry (in North America alone) that is where the taxi industry was before ride-share. We are doing this by shifting business online and allowing event organizers to move large groups to their destinations with ease. We are the reference in people transportation, including professional sports teams, major tech companies, international music festivals, and everyone in between. In the last 2 years, we have successfully expanded our offering to offer our virtual fleet of vehicles, technology and marketing know-how to governmental entities (transit authorities, airports, etc.). Your Role:
Bus.com is looking for an experienced hunter to join our sales organization focused on selling to net new prospects in our Enterprise segment. We’re looking for an Account Executive who has experience selling into large strategic accounts, from prospecting and territory development
through close.
To be successful in this role, you will approach your defined set of prospects, territory or vertical with an entrepreneurial mindset and be comfortable in a startup-like environment where personal drive and performance are critical to success. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, while being able to leverage various company resources, to reach a successful collaboration with the prospect. Bus.com has great momentum and at this early stage, the Account Executive is likely to work cross functionally with Marketing, Sales Leadership, and Operations.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number
of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline in order to achieve/exceed
monthly metrics (ex: bookings targets / opportunities won).
Work closely with your customers as a trusted adviser to deeply understand their unique
company challenges and goals.
Accurately manage pipeline in CRM and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
to Bus.com management
Secure proper signed paperwork from partners and customers in accordance with
Bus.com’s revenue recognition policy and preapproved by Bus.com’s Legal and Finance
departments
Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support
staff.
Your Skills and Competencies:
5+ years of full cycle enterprise sales experience in two-sided marketplaces. Experience
selling in transportation or equivalent markets is preferred.
Performer. Consistent overachievement of sales goals.
Sales Cycle Expert. You have the expertise at the transaction and enterprise level. You
lead prospects and customers as opposed to reacting to customer requests.
Experience with enterprise sales methodologies and qualification processes such as
MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN or NEAT a big plus
Excellent communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it.
Missionary. Highly driven individual with focus and a strong sense of urgency and a
belief in Bus.com’s mission. You can go beyond relationship management.
You are comfortable working with G-Suite products (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google
Drive, Google Docs).
Ideally You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing or similar relevant experience
Proven track record of overcoming objections
Active listening skills (you display an understanding of what has been said by being able
to accurately respond and reflect on it).
Empathy and self-awareness (you can ‘read the room’).
Customer-focused approach to communications
Proficiency in French or Spanish is an asse
