Work with Google Server Operations teams to identify repair data required for product and operations analysis.
Repair data includes failures and corrective repairs of components such as machines, network devices and rack-level equipment.
Develop and implement data collection strategies including extracting and organizing raw data.
Surface the repair technician’s user journey and end-user perspective through product insights.
Run user analytics deep dives to pin down root causes of the spikes in repair needs.
Work with machine learning data scientists to identify drivers of various repairs tasks and to select variables that could be further leveraged in repairs forecast modeling.
Present results with prescriptive insights and data-informed recommendations.
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience as a product/business analyst with in-depth knowledge of transforming data into prescriptive insights.
Demonstrated experience in processing large data sets through SQL, Python or R.
Excellent analytical thinking skills to translate complex problems into practical hypotheses to further prove or disprove.
Intellectual curiosity to ask the right product and supply-chain questions and the ability to find the answers.
Visualization and presentation skills to communicate findings in an articulate way.
Supply-chain analytics experience is preferred but not required.
