The Vice President, Global Marketing, leads the development and execution of Bluebeam’s global marketing, communications, and branding strategy in alignment with company goals and objectives. This role works cross-functionally with internal teams; to increase revenue, reduce customer churn, and grow Bluebeam’s presence, impact, and profitability.Location: Remote, GermanyResponsibilities include:
- Lead and direct the development and execution of global marketing strategy, which includes: brand identity and product or service value proposition communications to prospective customers and other stakeholders in the global marketplace including: employees, corporate management, special interest groups, and the media.
- Develop, in partnership with senior leadership an organizational resource and implementation plan to deliver on the marketing strategy which grows Bluebeam’s international presence.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of lead generation initiatives, with a focus on generating high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to support revenue growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective product marketing plans and programs are delivered and provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and training to maximize conversion rates and drive revenue.
- Create and manage a global, strategic marketing communications plan, team, and budget, as well as drive measurable marketing results and branding initiatives.
- Provide strong leadership and coaching in accordance with company values to a team of professional marketing employees to ensure effective marketing program delivery, scaling impact to the global organization, and while building internal capabilities and employee career mobility; create and lead a high performance and highly engaged team.
- Partner with Nemetschek (parent company) business stakeholders to ensure alignment with the broader organization’s vision and goals.
- Provide marketing experience and expertise to Bluebeam management team to effectively navigate business model shift to SaaS - including all elements of GTM: Market evaluation, positioning, target segments/markets, value proposition, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate systems and workflows, target market segments (regional, industry, persona) and create positioning statements for each strategic segment to drive all future marketing messaging.
- Ensure Bluebeam brand is consistently represented across programs, channels & all customer touchpoints, across the globe.
- Develop annual marketing strategy and plan including concepts/programs, timelines, budgets, etc.
- Report on marketing impact and show progress against core business objectives - leveraging data to understand, evaluate, plan, act & iterate.
- Partner with Operations and Sales teams to create consistent processes to deliver a single view of the business, across the globe.
- Partner with sales to improve distribution and channel effectiveness to drive increased sales.
- Identify growth opportunities, own full “anonymous” to acquisition funnel and placing regional/channel targets for lead number and conversion rates.
- Build a demand gen engine that can provide measurable and forecastable contribution to the funnel.
- Expand SaaS offering into new global markets; specifically, within Europe and Asia, and create better alignment and expectations between global + HQ marketing programs and initiatives.
- Successfully partner with Customer Success team to improve retention and implement an effective advocacy program.
- Identify additional revenue growth opportunities and develop academic strategy and marketing programs.
Here's what we'd like to see in you:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in global marketing, branding, and communications in a corporate environment; experience in a technology and/or SaaS organization preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is required; MBA degree with a marketing emphasis is preferred.
- Proven capacity to influence a company's global brand identity and visibility, with a particular emphasis on emerging and expanding markets; experience with, Europe and India is required.
- Designed marketing automation strategies and implemented/maintained tools to support marketing processes.
- Proven ability to develop, coach and mentor others and act as an active developer of talent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well in cross-functional and cross-global teams and create strong internal partnerships consistently.
- Experience in developing and leading the execution of copywriting, event planning, e-commerce, e -marketing, and media and agency strategies.
- Strong understanding of the competitive and strategic environment within the concerned industry.
- Ability to shape and drive strategy, lead projects and initiatives, and manage a large staff in a matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to engage in financial decision making from a marketing communications and branding perspective and develop strategic initiatives to drive greater profitability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with graphic, publishing, and Web development software, such as, InDesign and Quark.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
