Bluebeam is looking for a Director of Data Operations who will oversee global data operations and report to the Sr. Director of Business Operations. You will own Bluebeam’s PowerBI instance and work as a partner to the global sales and marketing teams, ensuring proper data collection, structure, and cleanliness to support the needs of global reporting and analysis.
This is a highly cross-functional role that will allow you to partner with many teams across the company to build out PowerBI as a central warehouse for all primary company KPIs. You’ll have the chance to make an immediate impact while paving the way for future initiatives that support Bluebeam's growth around the globe. You will enter at the ground floor, helping define and building out a data operations team to meet the goals of the business.
What you’ll do:- Lead and define the vision and strategy of customer analytics and business intelligence delivery team
- Deploy forward looking actionable BI & Data architecture and ensure alignment with company strategy and technology standards.
- Design data models for high volume data management that aligns with business processes
- Establish and implement a Data Governance model to address strategic priorities and ensure accurate global reporting on key company-wide metrics.
- Advise on and oversee PowerBI integrations that enable the automated collection of data from various tools in Bluebeam’s tech stack.
- Establish reporting frameworks and build out key reports and dashboards to support stakeholders at every level of the company.
- Promote standardized definitions of key metrics and own the memorialization of those definitions.
- Help define the scope and charter of the data operations team.
- Grow and manage the data operations team to support global efforts.
- You have 6+ years of professional experience managing business intelligence tools (some B2B enterprise SaaS environment preferred).
- You have 3+ years of management experience.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Statistics, or similar field.
- You are a PowerBI guru
- You are a big picture thinker who is able to understand overall business objectives and translate those into reporting that drives to actionable insights.
- You have direct experience with how tools like Salesforce, GA, and Splunk integrate with PowerBI.
- You are a creative thinker who can offer multiple solutions to a problem and lay out the pros and cons of each, driving to a recommendation.
- You consider documentation the icing on the cake of a project (as opposed to a necessary evil!).
- You understand the full funnel of sales and marketing at an enterprise technology company.
- You pride yourself on earning trust and maintaining confidence with your colleagues.
- You are genuinely interested in listening, understanding others and bringing out the best in your colleagues.
- You have supreme planning, organizing, scheduling and prioritizing skills.
