Frontend Engineer (Remote)

This is a full-time, fully remote role for Latin American candidates.

Applicants must have strong written and oral communication in English.

Must be within +/- 3 hours of Eastern Standard Timezone(NYC)

We are looking for an experienced javascript engineer to join our growing team. The role will be consuming data via APIs and a rich data visualization-heavy user experience. This is a fast-paced team building an exciting new product in the real estate space. The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient and self-directed in terms of helping to build good front-end patterns and a scalable codebase.

• Build front-end components and views for a web application in the real estate industry.
• Comfortable working with data visualization tools to build dynamic analytics experiences.
• Work with the backend team to get the data needed for reports and dashboards. Help refine the needs of the API based on feedback on the UI from the client.
• Optimize code for efficiency and scale.
• Testing client-side code and data loading queries.

• 3+ years of Front end javascript experience
• 2+ years working with Vue.js, React
• Experience building data visualizations.
• REST API & experience consuming APIs
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented and Structured development methodologies
• Strong understanding of good CSS patterns with comfort using pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Experience using git in a team setting.
• Has experience collaborating with team members and communicating code patterns.
• Interacts with others using sound judgment, good humor, and consistent fairness in a fast-paced environment
