Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join us and help our clients achieve their development goals. If you’re a Senior Engineer who wants to work in healthcare IT, enhancing our client's product from idea to production and assist them in achieving their next exciting milestone, then this is a fit for you.
This Engineer will join a scrum team, having an active voice in the architecture of the product, working with languages and platforms such as Java, Angular.js and AWS. Apart from solution delivery, you will have the opportunity to leverage your leadership and mentoring skills to raise the level of the more junior engineers on the team and provide guidance and influence to all team members.

Employment Type: Full Time or Contract
Location: Remote North or South America (EST Timezone)
Travel: 1 week per quarter* (every 3 months) to the client site in the U.S. *No travel anticipated for 2022
Salary: commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical system problems/defects, and design and implement effective solutions.
- Handle end-to-end development, including development, testing, and deployment.
- Work with and support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and peers to iteratively create software that meets business and technical requirements.
- Contribute to the development of team backlog, plans, and assignments.
- Design and implement software products and/or product features.
- Develop comprehensive automated tests for multiple scopes (Unit, System, Integration, Regression).
- Mentor and support Jr. Engineers in the development of their technology skills.
- Be part of a culture of innovation and learning.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills:
- Senior level experience in object-oriented programming (Java), preferably in a lead role.
- Experience developing APIs.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with TDD/BDD
- Experience with pair programming and working with collaborative teams.
- Adept at working with distributed agile teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Assets:
- Exposure to Angular, selenium, or other such frameworks.
