About the Role:
BenchPrep is searching for an energetic and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in developing our go-to-market strategy and crafting compelling product marketing content. Additionally, you will be integral in supporting demand generation efforts, managing key channels, and contributing significantly to the execution of our strategies.

In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on the growth and success of our products, working closely with the Head of Marketing and the Director of Customer and Product Marketing. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the Director of Customer and Product Marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies. This includes crafting messaging and positioning for product features and aligning with the product roadmap.
- Product Marketing Materials: Create, update, and manage all product marketing collateral. Ensure all assets are consistent with our messaging, aligned with our primary use cases, and effectively tell our product story.
- Market Research & Insight Communication: Collaborate with the marketing, product, and sales teams to gain a deep understanding of our industry, buyer personas, and the competitive landscape. Communicate these insights to internal stakeholders and use this research to inform our go-to-market messaging.
- Campaign Execution & Evaluation: Support the execution and evaluation of monthly and quarterly product marketing and demand generation campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Director of Customer and Product Marketing.
- Webinar Channel Management: Take ownership of the webinar channel for both product marketing and demand generation, executing 15-20 webinars annually.
- Content Syndication & Lead Generation: Oversee the content syndication channel, focusing on generating leads and then strategically nurturing these prospects through targeted email campaigns to convert them into MQLs for our sales team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SaaS or technology industry, with a deep understanding of B2B product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to simultaneously drive and manage multiple campaigns, initiatives, and deliverables.
- Strong self-motivation with an acute attention to detail, coupled with an exceptional ability to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet critical business objectives.
- Demonstrated analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical execution and result-driven approaches.
- Excellent writing capabilities, essential for clear and impactful communication.
- Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and experience with marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot (or similar tools) is highly advantageous.
- Experience in creating compelling product marketing materials, including sales one-sheeters, presentations, pitch decks, customer case studies, and product marketing emails.
- Experience in end-to-end management of educational and product-focused webinars, including conceptualizing topics, creating presentations, collaborating with presenters, and overseeing the execution of live webinars.
- Experience with content syndication channels and developing effective email nurture campaigns to drive lead generation and conversion.

At BenchPrep, we pride ourselves on offering a great total rewards package to each employee, including medical and ancillary benefits, potential for yearly bonus, stipends for work-from-home expenses, flexible paid time off (our version of unlimited PTO), annual professional development stipend dollars, and of course, a competitive base salary. The salary range for this position is between $100,000-$120,000, and is set based on Chicago market data. Please note this refers to the amount BenchPrep is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
