We are looking for a Software Engineer with an excellent set of backend engineering capabilities to ensure we continue to build amazing products for our customers.
We strongly value individual ownership and proactive problem solving working within a multi disciplinary team.
What you’ll do:
- Be hands on designing, developing and deploying high quality and performant software that runs Beacon’s supply chain visibility platform
- Occasionally lead technical and product initiatives
- Write clear documentation, tests, and recommendations for technical problems
- Peer review code and collaborate on large technical challenges through the guild community
What you’ll need:
- Very strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle complex, large-scale systems
- A deep understanding of service-oriented development, micro-service architecture principles, and continuous development / continuous integration best practices
- Experience with service development on AWS
- Real-world experience of maintaining secure applications in a public facing environment
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and ability to explain technical issues
- Open-minded and willing to learn new technologies

- Experience working with the following technologies: ElasticSearch, GraphQL
- Experience working with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Fullstack experience including Typescript React, Styled-components, HTML & CSS
