What you will be doing:
Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Product Manager II to join the Product Department in helping us build our machine-learning-enabled brain health platform to accelerate precision treatment for millions of patients with severe neurological and psychiatric disease. This role will report to the Director of Product.
Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs available located in Boston, New York, or the Bay Area.
What success looks like:
- Work cross-functionally across several teams and projects
- Build a deep knowledge of our internal and external users, customers, partners, and the biopharma ecosystem in which Beacon operates
- Map the opportunity space for the Beacon Platform, and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps in the context of the company's broader strategy and goals
- Practice continuous discovery by ensuring that you and your team are consistently speaking with users, challenging your assumptions, and testing your solutions
- Leverage Beacon's unique next-generation scientific computing capabilities to ship valuable, high quality products and features that delight users and maximize Beacon's impact
- Value outcomes over output and define success in terms of the value created for customers
- Take a scientific approach to product development by continuously challenging assumptions, gathering evidence, testing hypotheses, and validating outcomes
What you will bring:
- You've worked as a product manager for data-driven B2B products. You can clearly explain the impact of your efforts on those products, and the impact of those products on business outcomes
- You've demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams of engineers and designers throughout the product life cycle
- You understand that product development is a strategic endeavor. You've crafted and driven effective product strategies in your past roles, and know when to adapt methodologies to fit the immediate needs of the team
- You're comfortable working in an asynchronous environment, and have demonstrated success working remotely in the past
- You have experience working in the realm of data and analytics and have experience explaining the complexity of decisions to stakeholders and customers
Nice to Haves:
- You have experience in ML or AI products
- You have experience working in health or biotech and you're motivated to have a huge impact on the industry and on real patients' lives
- You’ve worked in a heavily regulated product market space
The base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000 a year and is determined based on past experience, specific skills and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits.
