Overview:
Quorum Software is looking for a JS/TS Frontend Developer/Scrum Master who wants to work in a cross functional team and willingly support the team with their strengths.
This person will join our Energy Components (EC) Global Solutions product suite team. Developed for the Oil and Gas industry Energy Components’ monitors business processes for the production, transport and sale of oil and gas. It facilitates collaboration between license holders in oil fields around the world.
The successful candidate will be the best of the best and become part of the EC team and work out of our Ostrava office while collaborating with our global team who are experts in technology and the business we support. Most importantly, this person will have the chance to be able to flex their technical passion and expertise in a social environment where everyone leads and learns through collaboration.
This role will:
- Work with the Product team and our customers to create the best features for our users
- Propose and drive new and innovative product enhancements
- Design, develop and build new features and functionalities
- Create and propose technical designs and specifications
- Scrum Ceremonies as Scrum Master with daily stand-up, planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings
Location: Ostrava, CZ office, (with 1-2 business trips per year – post Covid)

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical area such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics etc.
- 3 years’ professional programming experience with the required languages, frameworks, etc.
- High reading comprehension of technical documentation written in English
- Ability to communicate effectively in English - speaking and writing
- Ability to travel for business once Covid restrictions have lifted
- Ability to work from the Ostrava office at least two days per week, min 40% – (100% remote work is not an option)
- Proficient in Java Script / Type Script / HTML / CSS / WebComponents / REST API
- Experience with Development Frameworks: Mainly Angular (10+ version), sometimes React
- Experience in development of solutions for Mobile devices (Android & iOS)
- Experience in Scrum Mastering
- Test case automation (Mock / Karma / Cypress.io / Spectron)
- Deployment and integration, CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins)
- Linux, virtualization, dockers
- Git for SW handling
- Jira and confluence as planning tool for programs and teams
- Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban)
- Well-versed with relational databases - preferably Oracle & PL/SQL
- Experience with DevOps, Amazon AWS, MS Azure or WildFly is preferred
