React Frontend Developer

ArangoDB is an open-source, highly scalable Graph Database with Multi-Model capabilities. In addition to graph, it is natively supporting a number of data models, including Document and Key-Value as well as Full-Text Search and Retrieval. Oasis provides fully hosted, managed, and monitored deployments of the ArangoDB database on all major cloud providers for our clients.

We are looking for an experienced React Frontend Developer with a fifth sense for usability and style to join the ArangoDB Oasis team. You will help to build, improve and test the web-based front ends of the Oasis platform. All our frontends are written in TypeScript using React. They communicate thoroughly clearly defined and well-tested APIs with a large series of backend services.

The Oasis team is a fully remote team working from Western/Central Europe, so remote candidates in that timezone are preferred.

About the Role:

• You will extend and maintain the web frontends of the Oasis platform.
• You will contribute new features to the UI design.
• You will improve the testability and test coverage of the frontend.

Your Skills:

• You have at least 2 years of experience building web applications using React with TypeScript.
• You have a natural desire to build applications for users that are easy to use and require little to no explanation.
• You have a good eye for the design of web applications.
• You know how to build and maintain testable frontends in React.
• You are comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.
• You like to work in a team.
• You combine high energy and a positive attitude with the ability to take initiative.
