Music Acquisition and Artist Relations - Khaleeji Music

Anghami Mission: Like many music streaming services worldwide, Anghami plays a major role in elevating the value of themusic industry, flipping the funnel from a declining revenue market to a fast-growing market that has shifted from a content owned (downloaded and purchased) to a content streamed industry, driven by its mission to scale access to legal music where artists are remunerated with 50% of their stream revenues.

Job Title: Music Acquisition and Artist Relations - Khaleeji Music

Location: Kuwait/Remote

Job purpose: As Khaleeji music acquisition and artist relations, you will help our content team in developing our Khaleeji label/artist relations and music variety. It is possible to work as part-time to help building close relations with artists/labels.

As an ideal candidate, you are passionate about music, especially the Khaleeji genre. You are a people-person! You are excited by the opportunity to get in direct contact with artists/labels, building relations with them, anticipating their needs and making sure they feel supported and appreciated. It helps a lot to already have connections with artists, labels and media agents in Kuwait.

Main tasks:

• Approach and build excellent relations with Arabic artists and labels;
• Have direct communication with artists and labels, anticipating their needs and tending to their requests;
• Coordinate releases with the team;
• Attend on-ground events in Kuwait;
• Develop connections with various media in Kuwait;

Required experience and skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in the music or media field;
• Have good relation and connections with artists and labels in Kuwait;
• Excellent inter-personal communication and verbal skills;
• Be flexible in your time and dedicated to responding to requests whenever they are received;
• Passion for Arabic and Khaleeji music!
• Living in Kuwait/Saudi Arabia/UAE is preferred

Education:

• Bachelor degree in business, media, PR or any related field.
