Job Title: Growth Marketing Strategist
Location: Beirut, Lebanon
Job Purpose:
As a member of the Anghami growth marketing team, you’ll shape and scale our go-to-market and growth marketing efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced, dynamic, organized, metrics-driven marketer to set and implement our performance marketing efforts across MENA.
The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, a self-starter, with strong problem solving and analytical ability, and a track record of a “test & learn” mindset. You’re a strategic thinker that can leverage customer insights and data to help achieve marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience.
You have a successful track record of working across MENA markets to get results, and lead with data. You are familiar with the latest tools for apps / web / social / paid analytics, and know how to create campaigns to leverage the insights and data you observe.
Main Tasks:
- Work with our User Acquisition Lead to set the strategy, budget, monitor and report against both using KPIs, and execute for Performance Marketing;
- Plan and execution of user acquisition campaigns that support Anghami’s growth initiatives while meeting budget requirements;
- Create insightful, data-driven reports and draw meaningful conclusions that drive decision making;
- Test, monitor and analyze performance and optimize according to KPIs. Be comfortable doing bold tests and fail fast mentality;
- Closely monitor performance throughout the funnel and help us optimize conversions throughout the various stages;
- You will be crafting and documenting processes and frameworks;
- Drive engagement and conversion through audience, creative, and channel tests;
- Be the in-house expert for these channels and will have autonomy and support to deliver upon the agreed strategy to achieve our revenue goals;
- Champion paid media within the organization and work closely with the creative, website and merchandising team sharing knowledge and insight when appropriate;
- Break ground and be at the forefront of new tech and initiatives.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 4+ years of B2C performance/digital marketing experience in a high-growth environment, including expertise with Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Google, YouTube;
- Proven track record of developing sound digital strategies and running innovative campaigns that exceed target goals;
- Experience working with creative agencies and creative teams in support of media execution;
- Ability to prioritize between short-term demands and long-term needs;
- A startup mentality with a bias to action and ability to flex in a fast-paced environment;
- Superb organization and project management skills and capacity to handle multiple sophisticated projects at once;
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to craft actionable insights from complex data;
- In depth knowledge of performance campaign execution with special focus on: programmatic platforms such as Google ecosystem and Facebook ecosystem, Affiliate networks and SEO with proven track record of successfully executed campaigns;
- Very good understanding of digital data analytics.
