The General Manager of Amangalla holds responsibility for the entire hotel operation.
Reporting to the Regional Director, the General Manager leads the team to operational excellence and delivers exceptional guest experiences, through ensuring colleagues are well informed and engaged, whilst focusing on revenues and maximising financial performance. In line with our Value of Celebrating Communities, it is paramount that the General Manager is an active part of the local community.
We are looking for a visionary leader with a strong background in managing luxury resorts. Experience working in a remote location is preferred.
The successful candidate will be a charismatic ambassador for the property, setting the highest standards of personal presentation and must be able to uphold the reputation of the property through a quality-driven, guest-focussed approach.
You will be a strong operational, highly organised leader who is visible in the business and enjoys interacting with guests. In addition, you will be skilled at building relationships with stakeholders.
In addition to a deep understanding of luxury, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at identifying growth opportunities and fostering innovation. You will possess strong business acumen to ensure top and bottom-line performance and act with integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS
You will have a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or other relevant discipline and be fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
You will have a proven track record as a leader in ultra-luxury hospitality operation in and have demonstrated success in leading teams and working with external stakeholders.
Previous experience with managing hospitality operation with luxury residence is beneficial.
