We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to be one of the founding members of our Poland Servicing Engineering area to help establish a QA engineering team that is passionate about quality and engineering excellence.
The Servicing organization owns all of the self-service account management features relating to the consumer's post-purchase experience that allow consumers to resolve issues quickly & independently. They also create the tools for our internal agents to deliver fast personalized customer service and improve customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do- Lead and mentor a new impactful team of QA engineer in an Agile development process with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) model
- Build overall Quality strategy, along with providing visibility and decision-making around metrics.
- Collaborate between Quality and various engineering teams & product managers to incorporate end to end customer flows and journey in testing strategy
- Establish a data-driven automated approach to define, track, and communicate metrics that provide insight into the software quality and performance.
- Build a robust and consistent process of reporting and tracking issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering teams to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs
- Work with product and engineering managers to identify and layout test plans based on the team goals and resources.
- Work closely with the engineering manager for Servicing Quality team to lead and define both short-term tactical and long-term strategic plan on testing strategy and infrastructure design.
- Build relationships with people across engineering and other organizations for the design, implementation, roll-out and maintenance of test plan implementation both automated and manual exploratory.
- Drive detailed test plan definition, design, cross-functional alignment, estimation, in addition to task break-down, delivery, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Serve as a technical resource and engineering mentor for other QA engineers both inside and outside the immediate team
What we look for
- 6+ years of experience in leading quality assurance testing teams, including both manual and automated testing
- Experience in designing and creating automated QA tests and infrastructure in a CI/CD environment.
- Experience in testing web, mobile, and backend APIs across platforms to identify software defects and end-to-end issues.
- Solid experience with one or more test automation languages/frameworks/tools (Java/Groovy, Python, Selenium, Katalon, Appium, TestFlight)
- Experience with Cloud testing providers (SauceLabs, BrowserStack, AWS Device Farm, etc) is a bonus
- Experienced with load testing framework and toolings is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be proficient in asynchronous mode of communication–written tech specs, wiki, project plans, test plans, etc.
- Strong project management skills–high degree of organization and ability to surface critical information effectively.

Location - Remote Poland
The majority of our roles can be located anywhere in Poland.
