LTK is seeking a Team Lead, Emerging Markets to join our Strategic Programs Sales organization. The Emerging Markets Team Lead will develop a go to market strategy for broadening LTK’s vertical scope by acquiring new fortune 500 and enterprise brand partners in new/nascent industries. The Emerging Markets Team Lead will be responsible for identifying and prospecting industries that will accelerate and open new revenue streams throughout the LTK organization.
The ideal candidate will have extensive sales management and coaching experience across non-retail verticals, including but not limited to travel, entertainment, finserve and/or tech/teclo. The Emerging Markets team lead will be responsible for hiring and building a talented, consultative sales team. This is a unique opportunity to work cross functionality across the Creator and Consumer business units, as well as with Marketing, Operations, Product, Legal and Data teams to develop products, services, efficiencies and results to meaningfully drive revenue in new markets.
What You’ll Do:
- Hire, manage and coach a team of 1-3 consultative sellers in driving revenue in new/nascent verticals (travel, entertainment, finserve, tech/teclo and/or autos)
- Potentially begin as an Individual Contributor, demonstrating strategic wins through quota attainment, while creating a thoughtful hiring plan
- Build processes and playbooks to effectively position LTK’s unique influencer marketing capabilities within new/nascent verticals
- Work cross functionally to clearly communicate unique vertical product, creator and measurement needs for scale
- Guide team in prospecting, pitch and manage new vertical opportunities
- Support a team of sellers in generating a deep, quality pipeline of prospective brand partners in new verticals, and effectively managing all leads
- Motivate and coach team to exceed sales quotas
- Support sales team in C-level client pitches and meetings
- Guide the creation of data-driven client presentations
- Excellent ability to forecast and efficiently allocate resources to drive profitable business results
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of consultative digital media sales experience (technology platform preferred)
- 4+ years managing a sales team
- Own forecasting and accurate client analysis to support team planning
- Deep knowledge of digital media, social media, mobile and digital media measurement
- Comfortable negotiating highly complex contracts
- Demonstrated track record in leading a sales team to surpass its targets and grow the scale of partnerships under their control
- CRM experience managing extensive sales pipeline
