Senior Manager/Associate Director, Product Management, Brand Platform
Location: Remote (USA or London, UK)
The Role:
As a successful Senior Manager/Associate Director, Product Management, Brand Platform you will be responsible for leading the product vision, strategy, roadmap and execution that enables the expansion of our Brand Platform into global markets.
This senior level role requires at least 7 years of International Product Management experience and a proven track record of success leading the expansion of products from US-centric into global markets. Successful candidates will have managed an international portfolio of products. If you have deep subject matter expertise in international currency, localization, legal, privacy, content and culture, and have lived abroad, this role is for you. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SaaS Ad platforms and digital marketing.
As a startup at scale, this role will require both strategic work at the management level, working with the business to define International Go To Market plans, as well as epic level hands-on product management, and story level work with the development team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Research, understand and keep current on International business, competitors, financials, technology and trends in digital advertising and marketing technology.
- Define both short and long term product vision, roadmap, intake processes, prioritization, updates and reporting for our global platform.
- Define product requirements, collaborating with cross functional sprint teams, defining epics, stories, acceptance test criteria.
- Drive collaborative, cross-team product development with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Be the voice of the International customer through direct contact, collaboration with marketing and business.
- Clearly and concisely communicate to executives, teams and stakeholders
- Define and implement analytics to drive a data driven decision making process, maintaining, and managing the life cycle of experiments and cycle of customer data driven improvement
- Set ambitious goals, tracking and reporting progress and taking accountability for executing to plan
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for personas relevant to the International product line, leading strategy and execution in partnership with other teams and strategic partners.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of International product management experience at the senior leadership level, with a track record of success leading expansion of US products into international markets.
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise in EU, LATAM and APAC local market including business, regulatory, privacy, cultural requirements with experience with language localization, currency, timezone, privacy.
- Schedule flexibility to work with stakeholders in multiple timezones
- Mix of entrepreneurial and large enterprise experience with ability to define product in an emerging space
- Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of Web Analytics, engagement KPI's and a mature understanding of how to build business cases, measure benefits and communicate results to Sr. Leadership
- Deep understanding of, and empathy for users
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain and develop internal and external relationships; collaborating across multiple business and technology functions, relationship building and consensus building are essential
Desired Criteria
- The ideal candidate will have some experience in SaaS Ad Tech platforms, the digital ad tech industry and social ad channels with an understanding of SaaS product design and growth strategies
- Relevant agile software development with proven track record of delivering successful customer facing site features and improvements
- Experienced in Project management software (Jira, Shortcut, etc) and able to transition projects seamlessly from executive scope conversation to executable backlog for engineering teams.
- Ability to lead, inspire, project manage, drive and get things done in a startup environment
