As a Data Intelligence Manager / Architect, you will be a technical manager within a growth-hungry, acceleration-minded team of problem-solvers and product-builders. Responsibilities:- Generally promote building a data-driven organization by implementing self-service capabilities that empower analysts and support the data analytics lifecycle (data prep, data discovery, ad-hoc analysis, data visualization, dashboards, story-telling, curation into data products)
- Design, architect, administer, support enterprise BI systems from conceptual to physical implementation and operations
- Define, design, implement BI & related data strategies for operational as well as ad-hoc analytics solutions and services
- Create and assist in creation of physical as well as logical models with BI objectives in mind
- Promote best practices and provide guidance regarding use of ETL, data modeling (relational & dimensional) for BI deliverables
- Assist in definition, documentation, development of rules for data migration from disparate data sources into various components of the BI environment
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical users to understand requirements, define objectives, and measure results
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor business intelligence analysts with varying focus areas (product, marketing, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field, + at least 9 years of relevant experience; Master’s preferred
- At least 2 years experience managing BI systems at an enterprise level
- Expert proficiency with SQL; knowledge of Scala and Spark a plus
- Expert understanding of reporting tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy; Sisense implementation experience preferred
- Expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts as well as proven experience leveraging both
- Understanding of cloud technologies, specifically AWS, a plus
- Experience with agile development required
- Fierce attention to detail
- Experience working with off-/near-shore development teams preferred
- Working understanding and experience working with and integrating digital product analytics with enterprise BI (using tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, Pendo, FullStory, MixPanel)
