AI Foundation is looking to add a Sr Product Manager to guide and manage the buildout of our AI platform technology and our consumer products. The immediate product need is to take ownership of an alpha stage B2B product that we will be launching as a Beta service to our corporate partners in the next several months.
The Sr. Product Manager will need to work with the existing corporate partners, AI Foundation engineering, research, design, and product teams to deliver the new service and then drive to launch the production offering next year while utilizing the user data and learnings from the Beta launch.
The ideal Product Manager for this initiative would likely have previous experience leading and launching commercial software products with potentially millions of users. This person should also have some background delivering software products in collaboration with various partners or clients most likely in a professional consulting environment.
You will be primarily working with our Product, Engineering and AI Training teams. The Product Manager will also be working closely with our designers, executives, users and other internal as well as external stakeholders to deliver new software products and features.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the team to meet deadlines, facilitate launch dates, and maintain communication between executives, engineers, designers, testers, and researchers.
Act as the Product Owner and deliver amazing results.
Run fast, effective, energizing group meetings (supporting scrum) & daily stand-ups.
Work closely with external customers and partner companies.
Maintain awareness of similar offerings from market/competitors.
Provide project foresight and ability to intervene before problems happen.
Help provide product guidance with technical product management.
Help curate, communicate, and manage a long-term product roadmap.
Align demos around the product and pursue high quality results.
Requirements:
5+ years experience as Product Manager for commercial, enterprise-level software products.
Launched at least one recognizable product with a large user base.
Previous experience with a full-lifecycle product development from idea > Alpha > Beta > commercial release and support.
Previous experience delivering software products in a consultative setting where a client or partner is heavily involved in the decision-making process and eventual release.
Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
Proven ability to provide a consistent and well-communicated product plan out to the constituent stakeholders and down into the engineering organization.
Excellent product planning as well as risk assessment and mitigation skills.
Extensive experience in an Agile, iterative development environment utilizing project tracking tools such as Jira.
Experience writing user stories and bug reports and managing tickets to keep the engineering team running at high velocity.
Quick, solution-oriented thinking.
Technical or design background is preferred, but not required.
